Commissions at HBW are annualized (agents that qualify) and paid direct by the carrier or assigned to HBW and paid as earned by HBW. Commission and Override percentages are based on agent's HBW Level and the Carrier Product Pay Out.


Override commissions on downline agents result from the percentage spread between you and the agents below you. You must be at the AM position or above to receive spread overrides.

Generational overrides are only available to AVP, EVP, and NDA levels. An AVP can override and EVP or NDA at the 1st or 2nd override levels, respectively.

$25,000 in annual base shop production, $10,000 in annual personal production, or 10 licensed recruits per year is required to maintain overrides.

NDA Organization Bonus

NDA Organization Bonus percentage based on production from entire organization of the first NDA in every hierarchy. NDA's in each hierarchy receive production credit on every downline NDA in their organization. An NDA receives 100% production credit on their direct downline NDA's production. As production credit moves up through the upline NDA's it is reduced by 25% at each level. Production credits are added together and each NDA receives their portion of the bonus based on their percentage of production credit.

  1. If you have $125,000 of Paid Premium through June 30th, you are on pace for $250,000, which would be a 2% bonus. 50% of the attainable bonus level is 1%. $125,000 x 1% = $1,250.00 Bonus.
  2. If you have $250,000 of Paid Premium through June 30th, you are on pace for $500,000, which would be a 2% bonus. 100% of the attainable bonus level has already been reached. $250,000 x 2% = $5,000 Bonus.

Annual Bonus Levels

$100,000 - $249,999 = 5%
$250,000 - $499,999 = 7.5%
$500,000 + = 10%

Guidelines:

Based on paid premium from AIG / American General only and paid semi-annually

Examples:

  1. If you have $50,000 of Paid Premium through June 30th, you are on pace for $100,000, which would be a 5% bonus. 50% of the attainable bonus level is 2.5%. $50,000 x 2.5% = $1,250.00 Bonus.
  2. If you have $100,000 of Paid Premium through June 30th, you are on pace for $200,000, which would be a 5% bonus. 100% of the attainable bonus level has already been reached. $100,000 x 5% = $5,000 Bonus.

For promotion to all levels, every new recruit in any base shop in your hierarchy counts as $1,000 in premium after receiving an insurance license, producing at least 1 sale, and attending a FasTrack Training Seminar. Previously licensed reps count only if joining below AVP level in a base shop.

Commissions Limitations Period

The Commissions Limitations Period ("CLP") limits the initial commission payout for a fixed annuity sale to a maximum (cumulative) of $10,000.00 to the entire hierarchy for a 30 day period following the commission statement date. Any additional commissions still owed to the selling agent and hierarchy will be paid following the 30 day limitation period. This assures all of us that we are through the "Right of Examination Period" (Free Look Period) and the contract is in force prior to payment of an extremely large commission that could create a detrimental chargeback before the client's grace period is over.

Commissions Limitations Period

The Commissions Limitations Period ("CLP") limits the initial commission payout for a fixed annuity sale to a maximum (cumulative) of $10,000.00 to the entire hierarchy for a 30 day period following the commission statement date. Any additional commissions still owed to the selling agent and hierarchy will be paid following the 30 day limitation period. This assures all of us that we are through the "Right of Examination Period" (Free Look Period) and the contract is in force prior to payment of extremely large commissions that could create detrimental chargebacks before the client's grace period is over.
