Generational Overrides

A Generational Override is the commission earned on a downline Charter Designations and/or NDA/EVP/AVP base shop which include the personal production of the downline Charter Designations and/or NDA/EVP/AVP.

All Generational Overrides are paid by HBW on a weekly basis.

Generational Overrides for Life Insurance are based on paid premiums. Generational Overrides for Annuities, Long Term Care, and Disability are based on the spread between street and gross. Generational Overrides for Debt Rollup Plan and Living Trusts are based on gross commissions.

In order to receive Generational Overrides, an AVP/EVP/NDA must produce a minimum of $50,000 of base shop and 12 recruits or $25,000 personal production and 4 recruits from all lines through HBW annually. Any AVP/EVP/NDA producing $100,000 or more personally is exempt from recruiting requirement. If generational overrides are removed due to lack of production, an AVP/EVP/NDA can regain the generational overrides if base shop production is restored to appropriate levels.

Generational overrides may not apply to all fixed annuity products.
